The “Swar Dharohar Festival” at India Gate in 2022, featuring 75 artists and supported by the Ministry of Culture, exemplified the Foundation’s ability to organize large-scale, impactful events. Classical Heritage Pandit Mani Prasad ji’s 75th Birth Anniversary

The "Dhyan Rang Sangeet Utsav" in Delhi was a poignant tribute to the esteemed classical musician Pandit Mani Prasad ji. This festival not only celebrated his remarkable legacy but also featured performances by renowned Pakistani artists Ustad Shafqat Ali and Ustad Latafat Ali. By including these artists, the event highlighted the interconnectedness of Indian and Pakistani music traditions and underscored Swar Dharohar’s dedication to fostering cross-cultural understanding through music.

Shahanshah E Ghazal Jagjit Singh’s 40-Year Career Celebration

The "Celebration" music festival at Sirifort Auditorium in Delhi honored the illustrious career of Ghazal maestro Jagjit Singh. The two-day event included performances by Pandit Suvir Mishra, who played the Rudra Veena, and Ghazal singer Zulfiqar on the first day. The second day featured Pakistani poet Farhat Shahzad, Indian poet Nawaz Deobandi, and a captivating performance by Jagjit Singh himself. This festival celebrated Jagjit Singh’s contributions and reinforced the Foundation’s commitment to promoting artistic excellence and preserving the traditions of music and poetry.

Sitar Wizard Ustad Rais Khan Sahib’s 73rd Birth Anniversary

Swar Dharohar organized a festival in Delhi to honor Ustad Rais Khan Sahib, the esteemed Pakistani sitar player. The event showcased a range of Indian artists and highlighted the Foundation’s dedication to cultural exchange. Aaftab E Ghazal Ghulam Ali Saheb’s 60th Career Anniversary

The "Jashn-e-Ghulam Ali" music festival, held across Delhi, Ludhiana, and Mumbai, celebrated the 60th anniversary of Ghulam Ali Saheb’s distinguished career. The festival not only honored Ghulam Ali Saheb’s contributions to Ghazal music but also provided a platform for young Indian artists, facilitating a dynamic exchange of musical traditions.
